My Weather Satellite Images have been coming from a TechniSat-DVB-PC-TV-SkyStar2 Rev 2.6B PCI card until today 28th April 2014 when I upgraded to an Ayecka SR1 receiver in preparation for the Eumetcast change to DVB-S2 System in August 2014.

The receiving software is now running a very basic Debian 7 System on a Pentium M 1.70GHz Processor and 1G of RAM.

I will be writing further on this change in due course.
