The Partial Eclipse of 2026-08-12 was 97.4% here on Mizen Head in the far SW of Ireland. All times are in UTC.
This animation was created using SatPy Software to process the Eumetcast Data and ImageMagick to create the animated GIF from the individual png images.

The only time we had a break in the cloud was at 17:20 UTC about 5 minutes after the beginning of the eclipse. Here is that image.
Meteorological Changes
These changes were not as distinct as the Partial Eclipse of 2015 because we were in a Sea Mist creating a Low Stratus, so the sunlight was blocked to some extent.
There was a definite drop in the Solar Radiation which was not so marked in the Photovoltaic Output because of the cloud.
Wind changes were minimal, but there was a noticeable drop in Air Temperature.
It did get quite dark. Here is a photo taken on my phone at 18:14 UTC of our view west.
The Observatory was all setup ready to film the Partial Eclipse, but it was not used. My two Global Meteor Network Cameras IE000M and IE000N can be seen attached to the wall.
