I am becoming quite a fan of Backdrop CMS. It has many modules in Core which a Drupal User would have to install manually.
It avoids Composer and the problems with that memory hungry beast.
You can use the GUI for most installs and upgrades
There is excellent documentation and a helpful forum. I love it! So much in fact that I have developed two Script Systems on Github to make the job as easy as I can. For the Install go here and for the Semi Automated Upgrade start here.
